How do I add or create a new contact?

Apart from your own contact details, you can add more contacts in your account. This is especially helpful if you have different people designated to different parts of the business, i.e. accounts, customer service, or logistics, among others.

 

To add or create a new contact:

Step 1:  Launch your FoodByUs sign-in page.

Step 2: Enter your FoodByUs registered e-mail address and password, then click on “SIGN IN”.

 

Step 3: From your buyer dashboard, click on the My Account dropdown arrow.

 

Then click on Contacts.

 

Step 4: Click on “Create New Contact”.

 

Step 5: Fill in your new contact’s details.

 

Step 6: Untick which email communications your new contact may not receive. By default, all the boxes are ticked when you create a new contact.



Note that you have to choose at least one, or you won’t be able to save your new contact.

 

Step 7: Choose at least one email type then click on “Save”.

 

Your new contact is now created.

 

Note that as the account owner, you are the default primary contact.

 

Step 8: If you’d like to edit your new contact’s details, click on “Edit Preference”.

 

Note that unlike your own contact details, you can assign which type of communication can be received by the new contact.

 

Edit this if you wish, along with the other contact details, then click on “Update” to save the changes.

 

Step 9: To remove a contact, click on “Delete”. There is no confirmation required to delete a contact. So once you hit “Delete”, your contact will be immediately removed; this action cannot be undone.
