How do I find items/products to shop?

You can find items or products for your store from suppliers on the FoodByUs Marketplace that deliver to your area. 

There are two ways to find items or products from your buyer dashboard:

  1. via Search; and
  2. via My Suppliers

A. How to find items/ products via Search

Step 1: Launch your FoodByUs sign-in page.

Step 2: Enter your FoodByUs registered e-mail address and password, then click on “SIGN IN”.

 

Step 3: From your dashboard, click on Search.

 

Step 4: Enter the suburb or postcode of your FoodByUs registered address.

 

Then click on your registered location to confirm.

 

Step 5: On the Marketplace page, pick a category where you might find the item/ product you’re looking for; for instance, eggs. Click on the Dairy & Eggs category.

 

This will take you to a list of suppliers who deliver to your location.

 


Step 6: Click on the supplier you’d like to shop from.

 

Or, type the name of the item/ product you’re looking for in the Search box, to filter the suppliers who are selling it.

 

 

 

Step 7: Add your chosen product directly to your cart.

 

Or click on the item to launch its product page.

 

Take note of the supplier’s minimum order requirements and delivery details.

 

If you’d like to proceed, add the item to your cart or keep shopping at the supplier’s storefront by clicking on the supplier’s name in blue.

 

NOTE: You may shop from different suppliers.

Step 7: At the supplier’s storefront, click on an item’s Add button to start adding items you’d like to buy to your cart.

 

Scroll down and hit “Next” to see other items on the next page.

B. How to find items/products via My Suppliers

Follow Steps 1 and 2 above, if you aren’t logged in yet.

Step 3: From your dashboard, click on My Suppliers.

 

 

Step 4: Choose the supplier with whom you’d like to place an order, then hit New Order.

 

Step 5: At the supplier’s storefront, double-check that the suburb and postcode reflect those in your FBU-registered address, to ensure your order’s delivery.

 

If not, click on the tag and enter your registered suburb or postcode. Then click on the dropdown text to confirm these.

 

The location tag should now show your correct suburb and postcode.

 

Step 6: Click on an item’s Add button to start adding items to your cart.

 

Scroll down and hit “Next” to see other items on the next page.

You can also save your favorite items or those you plan to buy repeatedly by clicking on the heart beside an item’s Add button

 

Hearted items are saved to your Pantry List which works like a Wish List.

 

Use the Pantry List feature to save you time in finding items, especially if the supplier you’re buying from has hundreds of products in their store.
